luxury nigh club in madrid

If youa re not yet familiar with the neighborhoods of Madrid, this club is in Salamanca, the swanky area of Madrid.

The music is mostly electronic, and as soon as you enter you can see that the décor is a class above. The drinks will be a little pricier, and the crowd wont be the same as some of the other clubs I have mentioned.

This is a good club in Madrid to bring a date, or if you ant a night without any rowdy behavior.

6- Sala Nazca

live music in madrid

Another Madrid night club known for it’s Latin flavor. You will hear a mix of Reggaetón, Salsa, Pachangueo and even some popular music at times.

7- La Riviera club in Madrid

biggest clubs in madrid

La Riviera club in Madrid is a live music venue, but then transforms into a night club after dark. It reminds me of the Borderline club I used to go to in London, a lot bogger though!

The sound system here is amazing, as it caters for bands so they are tuned really well and give off an amazing sound.

If you want to see a little live music in Madrid, check out the concerts

La Riviera is what we like to think of as an all-purpose club. It’s medium-sized and popular among the under-30s crowd. It boasts a killer sounds system, hosts formidable musical acts and transforms into a trendy dance venue after concerts. There’s something for everyone at this one-size-fits-all venue, and its adaptability landed it here, among our favorites in the city.

8- El Penta

pentagram bar in madrid

This one has more of a cult following, and if you are in Malasaña and like to hear Spanish music from the 80’s and 90’s, you have to pay this place a visit.

It’s a bar from the Movida Madrileña era where the cultural shift in Madrid started. The atmosphere is really cool and you get to see a bit of history still standing to this day.

Not many of these bars survive still, it’s like a time capsule thats been preserved. We owe it to the cultural importance the bar has, and thankfully enough people still frequent the bar that it stays open.

AddressC. de la Palma, 4, 28004 Madrid

9- Changó club in Madrid

chango-club-madrid

You will start to see a theme that a lot of the biggest and best clubs in Madrid are former theatres. Chango is another one of these.

They have a different session for every night of the week with all the best local DJ’s and they also have special events. Deep house, funk, indie, pop, they play it all.

The crowd here can be quite a mix from the posh to the grunge and has a very welcoming environment. They even have scantily clad go-go dancers that really attract a crowd and get the vibe going.

live music venue in madrid

Siroco is one of my favorite places to go in Madrid. You can tell the people that run and organize the events are on the pulse and really cool. It’s more alive music venue that turns into a bit of a party when the band comes off.

The types of bands really do vary across pretty much all genres including funk, groove, rock etc.
