The Top Casinos In Madrid
1 Casino Gran Via
This casino is right in the center of Madrid on one of the most visited and popular streets, Gran Via. Casino Gran via is popular among locals and visitors, and they have a very large range of games including roulette, slot machines, poker tables, blackjack and more. The casino occupies a three story building that used to be the Industrial Union headquarters.
The decoration is really stunning. The marble stair cases, chandeliers, a large atrium covered with stained glass, but the gem is the roof top terrace with panoramic views of the city. For the high rollers there is also a VIP room, but I have never had the luxury to see that, so if you do please drop us a comment and let us know how the other half live.
If you are planning a visit and want to find a hotel near the Casino Gran Via, you should check out Hotel Santa Domingo. It is just a few minutes walk from the casino, have really comfortable rooms, and has a rooftop terrace with a bar & pool!

2 Casino De Madrid
This is taking a walk into history. This Madrid Casino has been standing since 1836, and feels like a much classier affair as soon as you walk through the front door and see the Scarface style stairs leading up into the Casino. Every single room, stairway, even the bathrooms are decorated to such a high standard.
There’s art all over the walls and everything just seems to be gold plated. It really is an extravagant casino, and you do feel a little like James Bond i when you sit down at one of the poker tables. They also have blackjack, roulette, slot machines, digital roulette machines and private rooms at a request.
A short walk from here you will find the Casual del Teatro hotel. It is within a 5 minutes walk of the casino Sevilla Metro and all other major landmarks in the city. Oh and just to mention, it is also one of the few pet friendly hotels in Madrid. My mom came over with her furry one once, and really liked this hotel.
Address: C. de Alcalá, 15, 28014 Madrid
3 Casino Gran Madrid Colon
Another of the most popular Casinos in Madrid is located right next to the Colon Square. If you go there, just look for the giant metal frog statue they have outside, you can’t miss it. It is also right next to the Madrid Wax Museum. As you would expect, the casino has all the usual games like roulette, poker, blackjack, digital machines and many more.
The Gran Madrid is so popular they even host the well known Pokerstars tournament at times. There are a number of buffets and restaurants throughout the casino so you definitely won’t go hungry, but I would advice eating before you go because it can be a little pricey. The casino is open from 3.00pm to 3.00am everyday.
Finding a hotel near casinos in Madrid is pretty easy as they are all in the center and there are Hotels in every direction. Heima Homes Colon is literally behind the casino, in one of the best locations of Madrid you could ask for. You are right next to Colon Metro and a short walk away from all you would want to see of Madrid.
Address: P.º de Recoletos, 37, 41, 28004 Madrid
These are the best casinos of Madrid that are in the center of the city. There are a couple other Casinos in Madrid, but they are not in the center and you would need to get there by car. If you want to check them out they are the Casino Torrelodones and Casino Admiral Sevilla.
Anyone one of these Casinos in Madrid are a great choice and you get a really cool experience and really feel the luxury when you are in these places. I would mention a few other smaller places where you can gamble in Madrid, but these are more like game rooms, and I don’t think it is the same experience as visiting a large Casino so I will leave those out.
