In the same spot, there used to be a shop that sold croquettes, so I went there recently to get a few, and to my surprise I found a whole new shop in it place selling only what I can describe as little pieces of heaven.

They make a lot of cinnamon rolls that are not on the menu, like the one with passion fruit, a cinnamon roll topped with lotus biscuits, I’m pretty sure I even saw a cinnamon roll topped with toffee popcorn once, and they are all made right there for you to see in the kitchen behind a giant glass pane.
When you enter the shop, you will see that most of the shop is actually taken up by the kitchen. You see the cinnamon rolls being made from scratch in the kitchen, so you know its not just frozen cinnamon rolls being chucked in to the oven. One of their main selling points at Salt in Cake Madrid, is that their foods are all made without additives, and watching them make everything is all the proof you need.

Just like everything else here, they offer vegan cheesecakes, with or without sugar or lactose, you just have to ask beforehand if you are wanting to order an entire cheesecake. Oh wait did I mention the snickers cheesecake !!
So if you are looking for the best cheesecake in Madrid, you need to visit Salt In Cake Madrid, they have so many options, and the guy is so nice, I wouldn´t be surprised if you could get your own custom cheesecake made.
Cookies At Salt In Cake Madrid
To add more sweetness to your visit, you have to check out the chunky cookies at Salt In Cake. You won´t see all of their options on the menu, as I am sure they just freestyle it sometimes and come up with some of the most amazing combinations of flavors. My favorite is the pistachio cookies they have. Made with freshly ground pistachios these cookies have all the flavor of the nut but not choc full of sugar to be overwhelming.
They have vegan cookies as well of course, and in a number of flavors. Pistachio and Raspberry cookies, Brownie Cookies, Peanut and Choc, Choc and Strawberry, and the combinations go on. The cookies are all made with natural ingredients, no paste or colorings, and again, you can see the chef making all of these items with all the ingredients.
Why Salt In Cake Madrid Has The Best Cinnamon Rolls
We shouldn’t really eat too much sugar, and we are aware of that, but we also don’t want to abstain from everything in absolute, so if there is an option to eat something that will geve me a little joy and I don´t have to worry about it having too much sugar, or being filled with loads of chemicals and additives, then I will always choose that option.
